Always the first

This Pulsatilla halleri is always the first to flower here despite being planted on the colder North facing side of the house.  Covered in many fine hairs, the flowers have a touchy-feely appeal, like a cat but without the vets bills :-)

Thanks for all the kind comments, stars and the occasional hearts recently.  I seem to be at almost full stretch again and do not get around your journals as often as I would like.
