Daffs in the dyke

The fields are now full of daffodils and there are lots also on the field edges and in the dykes.  They really do brighten up the countryside.  This morning I went to the new table tennis centre run by the ex England player Colin Wilson.  I used to play seriously and thought I might struggle having hardly played for 40 years.  However, with the help of the robot which fired balls at me at programmable speeds and spins, it all started to come back.  Colin noticed my old plain pimple Barna bat and informed me that it is now a sought after vintage collectable and I might get £100 for it!  It was an excellent morning followed by lunch with friends.  I shall return!
