What have you done for me lately?

I despair!

I got back on my bike today after a 6 month hiatus.

Deep down inside i was so looking forward to the breeze on my face, the sun shining, my book in my ear, the exercise (pah); most of all i was looking forward to the abundance of new tree sprouts, pussy willows whipping my face as i raced through the tree tunnel.

Alas! The sun, not quite, it was cloudy; the book - ace although we are having an ear phone problem; the breeze for sure, slightly more than i wanted.... Tree tunnel. Not a flipping chance!!! Some git with some crazy agenda has demolished the trees The majority of the trees!! Am devastated... Can only hope that in the sunshine it doesnt look quite so desolate and barren
