Dog days ..

After an overnight stay in Wooferton (!) - I headed to the kennels where my rescue puppy was staying.

I was shown her - and lovely though she was, I was initially shocked at the size of her! She had grown SO much since the photo I had seen, taken seven weeks previously.

I sat in the van for half an hour, dithering. I posted to my Facebook doggy friends, and also rang the dog trainer who had invited me to call from the kennels if I needed advice.

The general consensus was that she seemed to have a fabulous character which is far more important than the size of the dog.

So I took her, and she lay on the seat beside me all the way home ..
