A precious find on Orkney :-)
As we visited the ancient houses and ruins and beaches and neolithic stones... I saw that Scottish heritage had the good wit to leave lines by this Orcadian poet strewn about. He was new to me.
I am so glad I 'found' him.
Coincidentally, Radio 4's 'Poetry Please' programme featured him on Sunday - you can still catch it on iplayer if you're so inclined.
Doesn't he have an amazing face!
