Collecting Pollen

It was raining when I first woke up this morning but it cleared into a sunny day, well some cloud came in in the afternoon.  The car was reading 12 degrees, that's great for this time of year :)

A fine morning walk with Sammy before I headed into work at the museum.  I thought it was going to be a busy day with the fine day, people out walking and popping in for lunch but instead, it's been very quiet.  After tea, I headed back into Lerwick to see granny in the hospital,  she fell a few days ago.  She was sleeping when I arrived but I managed to get a few words before I left.  Hope she mends well and soon.  More walkies with Sammy tonight and a quiet night at home.

I enjoyed a warm lunchtime walk around Lerwick and headed to the flower park.  The crocuses and snowdrops are looking great just now and there was a hive of activity with bees collecting pollen.  Taken at Jubilee Flower Garden, Lerwick.
