Memories

Real spring like day today, still not warm though! I left hub at home and headed over to my home town, as today was our Church (St. Andrews) Girls and Lads Brigade Reunion. Some of us are still in touch and have been friends for over 40 years.

I took a some pics today, not many, as there was much catching up to do! The age range spanned four decades........so you can imagne the chat that went on ;-) There was a lovely buffet lunch, a photographer that took some group shots that we will be able to purchase later.

Sis left first as her hub is taking her out this evening, it's her birthday tomorrow. People started to drift away, I left so I could call in to see mum for a little while, before driving home.

This is Brenda, looking through some really old photographs. She is one of my closest friends, we have been through all sorts over the 45 years or so, including 25 years in the Girls Brigade, our wedding days, going to Buckingham Palace to receive our Duke of Edinburgh Awards from Prince Philip, the birth of our children, the loss of our dadsand on it goes.

We don't get to see each other so much these days, so it's always lovely when we get together.
