The boys and the girls.....

Now all the chicks are hatched and growing we have the expertise of those behind this schools project, that those lovely fluffy yellow chicks are the boys!! One will be kept and three will be returned and given a new role. 

My SD card has been playing up badly and it's taken ages to get this picture from it. I wanted to show the chicks in an amazing cardboard box pen made for them by our sole male teacher. We could have done it...but he insisted. 

It's been wonderful to visit Reception classroom each morning when I get to school and to capture the rapid growth of these delightful chicks. Soon we'll know the results of the naming competition. Then how to tell one from the other!
