Queen Elizabeth University Hospital

This afternoon I had my first trip to the new Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (aka the old Southern General) when I went to give friend Drummond a lift home after his knee replacement op last Thursday.

Gosh, it's H-U-G-E !

I had watched  a recent documentary on television about the opening of the hospital, and these colourful cantilevered pods had caught my eye, so I just had to blip them, both from the ground floor and from the 10th floor (extra), while we were waiting for the lift.

It has been a lovely spring-like day :-)
