Easter Lillies

These wild Easter Lillies (Amaryllis belladonna) caught my eye as they were growing out of a pile of rubble on the side of the road! They are springing up everywhere at the moment and are also known as naked ladies as they have no leaves at this stage! :o)

My first extra was also eye catching! A small feather sticking out of an unopened morning glory flower! It was a day of eye catchers as I also finally managed a shot of the very secretive night heron who lives at the lake, rarely seen and suddenly there he was!! ;o)
