Blue Friday

A day of home working (a long one too) so I didn't get out to take a picture. After a dinner of burnt offerings - I am excellent at that! Shame there wasn't a Masterchef award for blackened ruins - I decided to take a snap of the other speaker. See AAAAAARRRGGGHH! Anaglypta from over a week ago.

The Joe here was my first bobble head and I used to have him next to the TV. I caught him with my coat leaving in a hurry once and he bounced off the corner of the cabinet and his little guitar machine head snapped off. Praise be for super glue and permanent marker to cover the scratch. That's OK. A few battle scars are allowed. Guitars and jeans are very similar these days. You can buy them new but looking old. Shocking really. The only pair of jeans I had with a hole and loose threads were like that through frequent wear and years of hard socialising! Mom sewed up the hole once thinking she was doing me a favour. Sigh! I could cope with that but when she ironed my new fawn cargo trousers to have razor sharp creases down the front of the legs, I was distraught! It took several washes and lots of steam to get them out. Seriously they were like seventies sailor uniform trousers. Awful!!

Anyway, I am going off on one again. Memories, memories always carry you away..
