Irk
A day out with the other TT in Manchester. We went on a guided walk of the Lost Rivers of Manchester, although in truth there aren't very many - this is where the River Irk emerges from under Victoria Station and joins the Irwell. I was most interested to find out that Tib Street is named after the River Tib that runs along its length below ground. I also didn't know that the centre of Manchester is St Ann's Church.
Then we went for a delicious long late lunch at Lunya and Roy Cropper off of Coronation St held a door open for me. A small spot of shopping was followed by seeing Hail Caesar, the Cohen brothers' latest film and very entertaining.
Bit tired now.
