Further Afield

... but not much. This Meadow Pipit was cavorting, with a few companions in a field very close to our house when I went for a wander today. Heard and seen were also lots of Skylarks and a pair of Jays, and heard only, but unmistakeable, were a number of Curlews, now arriving locally for the breeding season. Exciting times.
