The Fiery Furnace

Like something from Dante's inferno, the fiery furnace is lit in readiness for the making of lunch time pizzas at the Peter's Yard offshoot, Söderberg, conveniently situated 100 yards from the Dower House.

Not that we were in for pizzas; no, they also do coffees and, dare I mention, toast which was sampled by His Lordship who considered his 6am gym visit warranted some extra sustenance. I on the other hand had no such dispensation.

The oven not only looks comforting on a cold morning, it is warming and makes lounging in the chairs with the fleeces on the back yet another sybaritic pleasure to add to the list.
