Ginger spice!

Zig ah zig ahhhh

I'm trying to make a ginger cake but I've added cherries and candied orange and lemon peel. I think it will work.

I've put some stem ginger in but sliced it into small and chunky pieces rather than grate it as the recipe requested. I wanted a gingery fruit cake so I hope it works!

I've burned a load of waste confidential papers since I got home and now I have to do the dreaded recycling. Dreaded only because I have a load of it to put out having missed a collection or two as I've been away on and off! Wish me luck (it will be good for my arm strength!)
