Polishing silver

That and knitting are nice ways to relax in the evening. I suspect knitting is the healthier option as the silver polish smells a bit whiffy.

This is the lid (it has a very pointed top which you can't see) of a jelly or sugar pot. It was made hundreds of miles away originally and I wish I knew the journey it has had. Polished up beautifully.
