Gone to seed....

A damp start,but not according to Carol on the BBC Breakfast weather ! She was convinced it wasn't raining !
Cattle fed,then agronomist arrived in to go through this years cropping . Quickly dug out the old envelope said plans were carefully recorded on ! Mind you,this is only plan A. If we reach plan Z we usually know things ain't going well.
A busy afternoon. The mobile seed dresser in to dress a couple of tons of seed oats. This machine passes the oats over a series of sieves to produce a uniform sample size,then adds chemical to fight off diseases,and weighs 500kg into a tote bag.
Just got finished and that lorry away when a 28 ton load of feed on pallets arrived in . Had him emptied and away by 4pm.
Today's extra is some of the masses of geese that have been grazing some of the grass fields round the farm for weeks. Not only do they steal any early grass needed for the ewes,but they also pollute what is left with what comes out the opposite end.
