Shattered!

It was my home check this evening, so I spent all day cleaning the kitchen (ending with ripping up the horrid kitchen carpet in the hope that the new vinyl could be laid on the old lino tiles underneath - but they're all disintegrated - so the floor will need screeding first - argh - there's no end to it!)

I also went on a bit of a spending spree for leads and harnesses and suchlike.

A friend very, very generously called in to drop off a 'welcome pack' for Maisie - a crate, ball, toys, puppy pads, food, treats a cosy fleece - amazingly kind and generous.

The home checker turned up at 6 - as did the foxes, of course! I answered all her questions and was tipped the wink that I'd passed - and was told officially a bit later - hoorah - and eeeek!

Here's poor Auntie fox who is just soooo fed up with herself - she needs to have those babies soon!
