In Full Swing!

Summer, that is, and these lovely mixed bouquets at the farmers' market today reflect that!

We're also in the height of berry season here, with both raspberries and strawberries available, and some cultivated blackberries coming in -- all gathered in a little basket, along with some golden raspberries for good measure and color contrast, at one vendor's stall.

Cherries and soft fruit (apricots, nectarines, and plums -- peaches soon) from eastern Washington, where the weather is much warmer and drier, were very popular with market shoppers today.

We have quite a few of the above in our kitchen now, and I would be happy to eat only fruit for a few days, but I don't think Phil would be!
