Penpal

I had a pen pal when i was very young. You subscribed to international pen pals and then you would receive a letter from another child somewhere in the world. I always marvelled at how great their English was.

I think I had a few. Possibly no more than a couple of letter exchanges each. No doubt due to my lack of commitment, which makes me sad. I did love those international envelopes though.

So, when I noticed SilverPebble (on that there Twitter) was embarking on a hand written letter project I jumped at the chance to join in. I signed up. I waited.

Then I received a letter. A beautiful letter. Tonight I finally replied, almost a month later. I feel blooming terrible. But it's done. Sadly I have a dim recollection of the project also involving me writing to another chosen recipient. The poor sod, getting landed with me!

Going to go get their details now. And write the letter... *looks at lap top and remembers House Of Cards*
