Blue Bird Day

The forecast for today was so so, but the reality was amazing.
We met up with my good friend Gary and his new partner today - and after 10 minutes sat outside the café it was like we'd known Marta forever. It was also wonderful to realise that we'd all taken off jackets, hats, gloves - it was positively warm. Sorry UK peeps ;)

A long bank meeting was a good test of our French, and it seemed only right to reward ourselves with coffee, cake & snoozing on the balcony in the sun. But we have summoned up the energy to arrange to go and play on the planks tomorrow - that should be a good test of my creakiness....
