Snowshoeing around

We woke to fresh snow but low cloud and a grey sky.
So a nice lazy breakfast and then we drove up to Bettex - Mrs IttH has never tried snow shoeing - but fresh snow and a café to café & back walk seemed like a great introductory plan.
The sun came out in bursts, and the snow came down in equal measure,  unfortunately there were no views of the high mountains to be found. Still getting off the track at La Plan and making our way along excellently signposted little tracks through the woods was great - and each clearing afforded us great little glimpses of a view like this.
