On the lookout...
It's been raining most of the day and been quite dark and dreary, not a day for being out and about and I've not been in the mood for indoor shots, so when there was a lull in the rain I went into the garden for a breath of fresh air. I could hear the Sparrow Hawk calling, and I have to say I think he's getting used to seeing me - at any rate he doesn't show any fear and doesn't take much heed of me either. I've been told that regularly seeing a hawk means that the local bird population is thriving and healthy, and I suppose nature being what it is that's the only positive way to look at it.
