Tiny Tuesday - Shell
Off to the surgery first thing to see the practice nurse - wonder when she does it for real - giving a blood sample for my annual MOT. Back on Thursday for the results (and probably a telling off....)
Leek & Potato soup for lunch - added a generous splash of Tabasco sauce to spice it up a bit. Very nice.
Out for our walk after lunch but was completely uninspired for a photo. So I decided to try a still life with flash - using my new flash triggers! This shell (along with several others) was in my 'useful bits to blip' box, I found them on the beach at Allonby last summer.
It is about 5cm long (so not really tiny). Shot with 105 macro lens. Lit with main flash 45 degress on the left with a Stofen diffuser (as I don't have any softboxes - yet) and a reduced power gun on the right to throw a little light into the shell.
It is an 8 image focus stack, blended in photoshop. Then processed in Lightroom.
