Tiny Tuesday

A little nibbled here and there, but I love this little Cornish violet, growing in the hedgerow down the lane.

Not a great day weather wise.
Drizzle and mist all day. 
However as we have spent the day with ex-neighbours, who have just moved down here, the weather didn't matter.
Coffee at The Cabin, Perranuthnoe.   (No walk on the coast path because of the bad weather.)
Then back to ours for lunch, and Cornish pasties. Followed by cake and catch up. So nice to know they are settling in well. 
They are renting a flat at the moment while looking for a bungalow or cottage to buy. ( Feel a little envious!)

Trying a new recipe for our meal tonight.
Smoked haddock, poached eggs, on a bed of crushed potatoes and leeks, with beurre blanc sauce.
A nice bottle of white wine to go with it chilling in the fridge.
Hope the sauce turns out OK as I haven't made the sauce before.
