International Women's Day

A day to reflect. I read somewhere today that it would take until 2190 something before there was true gender parity. We read a lot about women who have achieved this-and-that, but the most important woman in my life is my mother. I thought this old photo of her with me together was a good one to reflect on how different life is for me now. She wouldn't know what gender parity was anyway, and might not agree with it if she did.
