I know it's bad

But I had to record the fact that I did see the Aurora Borealis and did try to get a photography. I was at least -4C and I couldn't stop watching it. The monopod wasn't enough to stop me shaking, so when I did a 30sec exposure and lent against the waste bin up the rail track and my sleeve froze to the metal of the bin I thought I better call it a day.

Thanks to next door Helen for alerting us to the sight. it was only the second time I've seen it. Next time I will be more able to know what to do with my camera and hopefully have at least one fully working one to use???
