The Phoenix Rises

Well somewhere roundabout there. Not a bad wee place to visit.
The thick ice, versus thick mud to walk upon in slippy work shoes was the way forward. I'll leave you to guess my choice.
Needless to say I was padding around in stocking feet after that one.

Tonight I have been spoiled by the visit from both our boys to enjoy Mother's day a day early with me and Ally. A chinese carry-out was enjoyed, before we watched Ru's homework,(Casualty). He's been doing a first aid course today and tomorrow they have to answer questions about the programme . This episode is the aftermath to an accidental death, where a nurse dies after being in contact with a patient who was  being defibrillated. He is now applying for a job, sitting beside us in the sitting room.
Gavin sits next to Ally as he wrestles with Matlab, (Gav, not Ally).

I sit blipping. This may be the easiest of the work going on in here tonight, but perhaps not. On call tonight so I hope it stays that way.

Watching TV I realise that it is the 80th year anniversary of the Spitfire. I remembered this. We do owe them all so much.

As aye
