Besties...

I've written before about my "besties" ... my three closest girl friends.  I think that women share truly special relationships with each other - and I am so very lucky to have these three women in my life with whom I've such a deep, shared history.  This weekend, rather spur of the moment, Peggy and Kura came for a visit.  We laughed, ate, drank wine, reminisced, attempted to solve all the political problems, laughed some more, played a marathon game of dominoes and just had a generally wonderful time together.  So, what better Blip for today than these two very special women, Peggy and Kura.  

I shot this as they were packing up the car late this afternoon, as the sun was getting low.  It would never measure up to some of the amazing portrait photographers here on Blip, but it is an image I'll treasure.  Just as I treasure the friendship.

Tomorrow I'll return to something nature related - and in the meantime, thanks for stopping by!

And thanks for tolerating my silly "miniature" photo yesterday.  I cannot promise that you won't be seeing more of Daphne and Beauregard and their fellow tiny photographers.  You've been warned...
