In the Pink...

Daphne decided to take her camera out on a wildlife safari.  She found a marsh with the most magical pink grass and before long she found a huge spotted beetle.  She snapped photo after photo before realizing that she wasn't alone!  The sway of pink grass and happy munching of the spotted beetle, not to mention Daphne's camera technique had caught the attention of Beauregard.  Hm, I wonder what will happen next...


I found a great deal on some tiny Preiser figures - a whole set of photographers, each about 1/2 inch tall, which arrived today in the mail.   I've been wanting to try some miniature photography and this seems a perfect time!  The ladybird...well, that was found on the windowsill, very dead.

My besties, Kura and Peg, are coming out tonight!  I've got a big pot of meat sauce simmering which we'll serve over some pasta with a nice salad on the side.  Brownies for dessert.  Wine with everything...
