Big Lift

This is the new Queensferry Bridge under construction.
This will the fifth bridge over the River Forth.
The crawler crane lifts each 750Te road section from the barge and holds it in place whilst it is fully welded. Before moving along onto the new section to lift the next piece.

In the distance you can just make out the cranes at Crombie Point munitions depot, and the snowy Ochil Hills.
