Call the Midwife

It was a case of Call the Midwife when I halved this red pepper this morning. I have never seen tiny growths like this inside a pepper before, although it might be common enough: I am not a great user of peppers, but if Mary Berry says put one in to butternut squash soup. Then so be it.

On my circuit of the town today, I was impressed by the number of people with guitars in cases strapped to their backs or carried in their hands. I wondered if there was a guitar convention on the go or perhaps it is the latest fashion accessory for men - a guitar shaped man bag perhaps.
