A flurry of Snow Bunting sightings.
Indeed almost a blizzard of them.....
After a decidedly lean winter for catching up these arctic gems, one appeared by the road side on Grimsay ten days ago and then last Sunday there was a flock of around sixty on Berneray.
Closer to home today, eleven of them were feeding by the car park we use for Baleshare beach. Always a good day when you catch up with them.
Looking art my flight ticket to China I realised it was one day later than I had thought. It suddenly felt as if I had been given an extra day's holiday.
Excellent.
