Iridescence

We had a light covering of snow last night, so of course the first order of business for the day was to get some shots.  Hopefully we won't be seeing snow again for many months.  The Common Grackles were out in force, and although the name is true regarding their numbers here, it doesn't hold when it comes to their beauty.  I love the iridescent blues and purples.  I also have a shot of a hellebore in the snow, which I suppose I should have chosen instead since it's Flower Friday, but this grackle spoke to me.
