Ash keys

Amazing how the beginning of life can look so unpromising - one/some/none of these will turn into an ash tree.  Apparently, ash keys can be pickled but I think these are passed the stage of being tasty ingredients.

Three pear trees planted today - just practice for the 50 beech saplings waiting to be planted and become a hedge.  Good to be getting things into the ground again.
