Snake bark

Signed off on a task which has been going on since last April and which has been emotionally draining.  I spent a large part of the morning checking one or two things confirming the sign off and gathering all the paperwork which is now in a large black plastic bag and is awaiting collection for recycling.  A cathartic process.

As I finished that off, the bare root trees which I ordered at the weekend arrived.  The ground is not ready to receive them being a little on the frozen side so they have been safely stored away.  It will keep me busy for the next wee while.  Their arrival prompted me to check out the trees I planted last autumn - all seems well and the snake bark maple is a particular delight.

March is good so far.
