Rainy Back Garden

One of those typical English weather days today.  Several times we had periods of rain and one batch of snow, remained windy most of the day, but these wet periods were interspersed with bright sunshine and blue sky.  I thought this summed up the rainy periods as we waited to go out for short walk in the New Hall Valley.

Later on we had a great dinner with the D, J, P,  S and Z with Karl who was a friend of S.  I cooked a meal from my kitchen passport series a Christmas present from Josiah - successful and delicious in the end, though challenging in the creation.  The extra photo was taken in the kitchen with our guests with whom we shared some Prosecco to celebrate our new abode as well as M and D's new home and J's exam success.  Good times
