Beth's Chocolate Mousse

We had a wonderful meal at the Atrium restaurant, a place where the University College Birmingham students practice what they have learned on those who have discovered this hidden gem.  The restaurant, I read, is considered one of the top 10 places to eat in Birmingham and it is no surprise when you have eaten there.  It was extra special because our friend B is in her final year there and she was responsible for this wonderful chocolate mousse with licorice center quenelle of mousse, honeycomb, white chocolate paste spread, sacher sphere etc.

This was preceded by some tasty scallops, 2 types of lamb and interspersed with pre-desserts and a lovely selection of cheeses.  The extra photo is of L and B who came out to serve her beautiful dessert in person.  Another great dining experience!
