Halong Bay- sunset
Today we started our overnight cruise to Halong Bay- we both agreed that it was one of the most picturesque places we had ever seen and we were especially lucky as the sun was beaming. The boat had spectacular views of the towering limestone islands/rocks rising out of the emerald waters (these islands have taken over 20 million years to form).
We visited Ti Top Island- we had to climb a ridiculous amount of steps, but it was worth it to see the stunning views. Afterwards, everyone chilled on the beach below. But the highlight was definitely kayaking in the late afternoon, only a few of us went out and we managed to find a secluded spot to watch the sunset- it was so beautiful and peaceful!
