My early morning walk, for health reasons and to buy a paper, saw me leaning on the cricket club gate watching the dawn. It's too cold to linger, but it's not a bad way to start the day. They're giving rapidly shortening odds on snow at Easter and record low temperatures; maybe this winter will bite us in the bum yet.
