OMG!!!!  I changed my mind AGAIN!!!  I've seen a pair of doves around the house for a few days (and heard them as well), but today is the first day I've seen one of them sitting on the nest!!!!  He/she didn't mind at all sitting still for the photo, so I knew I had to change the primary photo here.  The one of Yao Ming is in the extra with the story of him just below here......  :)

I don't think I've ever posted this before, so decided to shoot Yao Ming today.  He is part of my office and is a poster mounted on a solid base so he can actually stand upright.  Each time the grandchildren are here for a visit, they get measured for height on Yao Ming.....those are all the marks and names with dates written on him!  We have moved around so much over the years that once we were in Florida, I thought this would be a good idea to document the growth of the kids.  THEY are now the ones who always remember to get measured before they depart for home. 
 In front of Yao Ming are two of my drums (also reside in my office) and they're used for the Sunday night drum circle at one of the local beaches.  It's great fun and I've been joining in since 2002!!!   You can see what goes on if you look up Siesta Key Drum Circle on Google.....(sorry, I don't know how to make a link...  :(  ......)
