Yellow Carpet

It seems that finally spring has sprung. 
This display of colour caught my eye on Sunday.

A carpet of flowers near the abbey gate of Pittencrieff Park, growing around some daffodil buds.

I have no idea what they are.......maybe the more horticulturally inclined people will know.
