A grand view from the Hilltop Road

Looking west out over Kirby Underdale, from the Old Roman Road, one of my favourite viewpoints, especially on a clear winter day like this!
Every time I travel this road, I think of how intelligent the Romans were in the places they built their roads, the view is incredible in all directions.
This is the Yorkshire Wolds at their best.
