Well it is in the case of my favourite old leather

Jacket

that I have been trying to wear out for years, but never succeeded, and my sturdy canvas

Jerkin,

which others may call a vest, and is great for photography and art as it has dozens of pockets and hidey holes.

This means that I immediately forget where everything is stowed "safely" away and have endless fun finding what I want.

Particularly the car keys and my wallet.

And the spare battery

and the spare flash card.

Inevitably when I need them.

But I wouldn't be without either of these old friends - we've been together through thick and thin, rain and shine, hell and high water and any other relevant pairing you care to come up with.
