I is for
Internal combustion engine
Once upon a long ago I used to be able to strip one down, clean it out and put it all back together (with only one or two odd bits left over) and it would go for years.
Nowadays I can't even find the way in to the workings to replace the part that needs replacing - assuming I could identify it and knew what it did. It all has to be done by "a proper man".
But they still go "suck, squeeze, bang, blow" as far as I know.
I deliberately fuzzed (technical term) this one and used a sepia layer to give it an "olde worlde" "Those were the days" feel - even if it is now an object and subject completely foreign to me.
