Bear showers

Suki had her gall bladder removed about 3 weeks ago which means 4 weeks of slow recovery in a large cage .... We give them lots of treats and enrichment and after 2 weeks when the suture line has healed we can give them showers - which most bears love in this heat. It probably looks a bit mean here putting a hose on a caged animal but honestly Suki rolls over on her back and grins in anticipation when we walk in. She loves to get soaking wet and then sit in front of her fan and eat whatever browse or treat we've brought her.
So I managed to avoid falling off my bike, running into water buffalo and being a trampoline for geckos today :). A good Friday 13th. Hope you all had a good one too
