Dogs Deluxe

I've been helping out with an event at Longshaw today, called Take the Lead, a day of fun but with a serious message about responsible dog ownership in the countryside. Events included dog training displays, dog chipping, with a vet in attendance, meeting the shepherds, a walk, a mountain search and rescue demonstration and a fun dog show. it was the first time this event has taken place, and even though it was bitterly cold, attendance was good, and participants - dogs and owners - were well behaved and enjoyed themselves.
