The Fell Ponies

Not seen these fellows up on the fells for a while - lovely to know they're still allowed to roam free. 
This one made the more picturesque blip - but his mate was actually quite friendly - C kept the pooch out of the way and he was happy to wander over and have his snout petted - so I'm fairly sure they're quite used to human interaction. When we'd wandered on aways we looked back and realised that all told there were about a dozen or so dotted across the hillside.
