Shake, Stretch, and Shallow

I'm still hanging by a thread on the internet on my phone, but it recycles at midnight, so I should be all right on the morrow.

I rarely see cattle egrets because it's hard to be in the middle of a pasture, but a group of 10 were hanging out at the garden center. I approached slowly, but they still took to the air.

Knowing they would be leaving, I didn't mess with my camera settings much, so I wish I would have pushed up the F-factor. Then Shallow could have become Wide, and been in better focus.

4 other shots are in my Extras. The pink flower would have been my entry into Flower Friday, but I just didn't like it enough.
