The Florida State Bird

Almost every year in Florida, I get a picture of a mockingbird. And, almost every year, I do a rant about the bird. (WHY ISN'T THE STATE BIRD A PELICAN, A BLUE HERON, THE GIANT WHITE EGRET, or THE SNOWY EGRET?) But, the rant bothers my Florida blip-buddies. "LEAVE OUR STATE BIRD ALONE!"

So, this year...no rant. All I'm going to say is..."Ladies and gentlemen...I present to you...in all of its splendor...the state bird of Florida."
